About Craig
Craig Alford is a former public-company chief executive and practising scientist who brings more than 35 years of leadership, corporate finance and evidence-based decision-making to OmniConflux as Vice President.
He adds the operating discipline of a company that answers to regulators and shareholders. He has led SEC-reporting companies as Chief Executive Officer and served as an interim Chief Financial Officer, and he has sat on eight public-company boards, so he knows the reporting, audit and governance work a growing company has to get right early. His background in corporate finance and strategic acquisitions helps OmniConflux weigh partnerships, vendor agreements and deals on their merits.
He is a scientist by training, with an MSc from Lakehead University, and a licensed Professional Geoscientist in Ontario. That training is the idea OmniConflux is built on: a claim is not accepted until it has been tested, which is why a different vendor checks every task. Decades of project work on five continents, far from any head office, also give him a practical view of teams that need capable tools on their own machines, wherever the work is.
